Spiritual Awakening in Capiz: The Transformation Youth Camp 2026

TAPAS, CAPIZ — A powerful wave of spiritual renewal swept through the community of Tapas this week as the Transformation Youth Camp 2026 drew to a triumphant close. The event, marked by intense worship and communal unity, saw over 200 young participants publicly declare their faith and confirm their identification with Jesus Christ.

The atmosphere was one of profound reverence as youth from across the region gathered to seek a deeper connection with their faith. The camp served not only as a spiritual retreat but as a bridge for the local religious community, successfully connecting several area churches and their pastors in a shared mission for the glory of God.

The event featured international guest ministers Pastor Liz and Pastor Michelle from Billings, Montana. Their presence brought a global perspective to the local gathering, emphasizing the universal nature of the message being shared.

During the culminating services, the Montana-based ministers led a powerful session focused on spiritual empowerment. The highlights included a dedicated time for personal guidance and spiritual counseling, laying of hands, and baptism of the Holy Spirit – to which may attendees reported life-changing experiences as they were ministered to, seeking a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit to guide them in their daily lives.

One of the most significant outcomes of the 2026 camp was the visible unity among local churches. Breaking down denominational barriers, pastors stood side-by-side to mentor the next generation. This collaboration is expected to have a lasting impact on the region, strengthening the network of support for youth ministry in Capiz.

A New Dawn in Cabugao: AFCMI Breathes Life into Abandoned Church

The air in Sisim, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur, was thick with more than just the evening humidity on April 28, 2026; it was charged with a palpable sense of spiritual restoration. What was once a silent structure, left behind by foreign missionaries, echoed once again with the vibrant sounds of worship as the AFCM Family team hosted a powerful Revival Night.

Led by Rev. Raul Cuaresma, the gathering marked a significant milestone for the local community—a transition from abandonment to a new, fire-filled beginning.

For a time, the church in Sisim stood as a reminder of what happens when external support fades. After the departure of foreign missionaries, the congregation faced the daunting reality of being a “shepherdless” flock. However, the story didn’t end with locked doors and empty pews.

In a move that many are calling a divine appointment, Bishop Galosmos, a dedicated member of AFCMI Philippines, answered the call to step into the gap. His decision to shepherd the church has shifted the narrative from one of loss to one of local empowerment.

It’s not just about keeping the doors open, it’s about reclaiming the ground for the Kingdom.

The takeover by AFCMI Philippines signifies a broader trend of indigenous leadership rising to sustain and grow the faith in the provinces. By providing a home for the abandoned, Bishop Galosmos and the AFCM team are proving that the heart of the ministry isn’t found in foreign funding, but in the unwavering commitment of those who stay to tend the garden.

As the lights dimmed in Sisim, one thing was clear: The church is no longer abandoned; it is alive.

Transformation Youth Camp: Igniting Faith in Pangasinan

📸 The Second Leg of Transformation Youth Camp 2026

The journey of spiritual renewal continued this week as the Transformation Youth Camp 2026 made its highly anticipated second stop in the province of Pangasinan. Following a successful first leg in General Santos City, this gathering brought together a vibrant community of young people under the theme “Victors in Christ.” From the moment the campers arrived, it was clear that this wasn’t just a retreat, but a dedicated space for the next generation to encounter God and find their footing as leaders.

The sessions were marked by a profound sense of reverence and high-impact teaching. Under the shelter of the camp hall, speakers delivered messages that challenged the youth to rise above their challenges and embrace their identity in faith. One of the most moving sights of the event was the time of ministry, where dozens of participants knelt in prayer, hands raised toward the Word, signaling a deep, personal commitment to their spiritual journey. These moments of quiet surrender were balanced by the energy of the evening worship, where voices rose in unison under the night sky.

Community and connection remained at the heart of the Pangasinan leg. Between the formal teachings, the camp was filled with the sounds of laughter and the sight of new friendships forming in the sea of green and blue chairs. The leaders and staff worked tirelessly to provide a supportive environment, offering individual prayers and guidance to ensure every young person felt seen and heard. This sense of unity was captured beautifully in our final group portraits, showing a massive family of believers united by a single purpose.

As we wrap up this second leg of the national tour, we carry the momentum of Pangasinan with us. These young “Victors” are returning to their schools and homes with a renewed sense of hope and a mission to be a light in their communities. The Transformation Youth Camp continues to move across the Philippines, and we are expectant for what the remaining stops will bring as we witness the lives of the youth being changed forever. Amen!

From Prayer Mountain to the Nation

📸 RCC Ministries & AFCMI Philippines Team

The mission to reach a generation doesn’t start on a stage—it starts on our knees.

Upon landing in General Santos City, the RCC Ministries and AFCMI Philippines teams bypassed the busy itinerary and headed straight for the summit: Prayer Mountain. Before launching the first leg of the nationwide AFCM Transformation Youth Camps, the spiritual groundwork had to be secured.

In the quiet elevation of GenSan, the team spent crucial hours in intense intercession. We prayed for the city, the nation, and the specific young men and women we are about to meet. We believe true transformation is birthed only in His presence, making this summit vital preparation for the heavy lifting ahead.

GenSan is just the spark. As these camps mobilize across the Philippines, our mandate is sharp and urgent: Create an atmosphere for genuine, life-altering experiences with Jesus; Renew minds through the uncompromised Word of God; and Send a mobilized generation back to their schools and homes as bold ambassadors for Christ.

The fire has been kindled, but we cannot carry it alone. Partner with us in prayer for open hearts, traveling mercies, and a nationwide awakening among the youth.

The transformation has officially begun!
